Tobacco and alcohol as main health risks

Tobacco use was investigated as a health risk behavior in its own right but also as a possible addictive behavior related to alcohol and drug use. A little less than two-thirds of male respondents and one-fourth of female respondents were current smokers, defined as smoking at least one cigarette a day. The prevalence of smoking was much higher among males in all age groups than among females. The difference was especially large among teenagers (the share of smokers among boys was almost 2.5 times higher than among girls).
More than half of all males and 18 percent of females reported that they were frequent smokers, defined as smoking at least three cigarettes a day.
Most respondents reported consuming alcohol at least once in the last month. Alcohol consumption was very high in all age groups, including teenagers and there were only small differences in alcohol use between men and women. Adolescent boys were more likely than adolescent girls to report drinking alcohol. Self Prostate Milking For Prostate Stimulation.

Thirty-six percent of respondents were classified as frequent alcohol drinkers, defined as having 4 or more drinks in the past months. Men were almost twice as likely to be a frequent drinker than women (36 percent compared to 18 percent). One-quarter of men in the sample reported ever being completely drunk, compared to 8 percent of women. The proportion of frequent drinkers was slightly higher in urban than in rural areas (29 percent compared to 22 percent respectively).
